Service pricing before the offer

Ask for the price. Decide on the work when you are ready.

Quote Requests give a Customer a direct way to ask a matched Service Provider for a price and supporting documents. The quote is a conversation step—not a job, not an automatic booking.

  • Customer asks for a price
  • Service Provider replies in the app
  • Normal offer path stays in control

A distinct service pathway

Quote first. Offer second. Each action has its own meaning.

A Customer can request and receive a quote without creating a job. If the Customer accepts that quote, SquadGoo opens the ordinary Send Offer screen with the agreed price pre-filled; the platform’s usual audience, ABN and listing checks remain the single source of truth.

For Customers

Compare the response, understand the proposed price, and choose whether it is right to move into a real offer.

For Service Providers

Answer with a real price and optional supporting documents. A response fee can apply under the current in-app pricing rules.

For the eventual job

No quote bypasses offer checks. A confirmed job follows the normal offer route rather than inventing a separate booking system.

Why it is not an interview

Different counterparties need different conversation tools.

Interview Requests are only for Jobseekers. Quote Requests exist for the Customer-to-Service Provider pathway, where price and scope are often the useful next step.
